Symon Latham has long been regarded as one of Britain’s most respected falconers and his written work on the subject amongst the finest ever produced on the sport of falconry in general but in bringing into condition and flying longwings in particular.
However many have shied away from studying the work due to the notoriously difficult to read and often very confusing Elizabethan English in which it was originally written. Now at last the work has been transcribed into a more reader friendly form, without being hacked about or losing any of its original meaning. It is to be hoped that in this way the wonderful work will be a good deal more accessible to those who wish to read it.
