Symon Latham has long been regarded as one of Britain’s most respected falconers and his written works on the subject amongst the finest ever produced on the sport of falconry in general but particularly so in bringing into condition and flying Peregrine Falcons and Goshawks.

However, many have shied away from studying his works due to the notoriously difficult to read and often very confusing Elizabethan English in which they were originally written.

Now at last the works have been transcribed into a more reader friendly form, without being hacked about or losing any of their original meaning. It is to be hoped that in this way these wonderful works will be a good deal more accessible to those who wish to read them.
